The way music is being taught is changing all over the world. Did you ever think that someone from another country could digitally record their music and send it across the world over the internet? With the disklavier it's possible. The disklavier is a piano that allows someone to record the movement of the keys and foot pedals when they are pressed. Since the movements can be recorded the person can send them to other people through the internet and can be replayed t on other disklavier pianos. It records the exact same things the person plays so the can listen back to it and see if they made mistakes. This helps teachers help their students find their mistakes in their music.
One the other hand, with every good invention there could be disadvantages and advantages. One disadvantage of this is that it would cost over $40,000 to promote the disklavier. Despite this disadvantage there is one extremely well advantage. The disklavier allows people from other countries to audition for music competitions in the Untied States. It can also help students apply for a music school without even having to come to the campus letting the parents save their money. Because of the disklavier more of music education can be explored.
